Transformers Studio Series is a great way to provide toys from the movies that are relatively to scale. Lots of fans loved the original releases from 2007 to today, but sometimes toys were over or undersized. The Studio Series line tries to provide scales that are pretty spot on. Included at Toy Fair were the new Optimus Prime from Bumblebee (I want!) KSI, Dropkick, Drift, Hightower, and Optimus Prime with trailer! Note: Some Movie Masterpiece toys accidentally made it into this gallery. Whoops! Pictures by Steve Kushnir

Toy Fair 2019 – Hasbro Transformers Masterpiece
Transformers Masterpiece toys are once again hitting online stores, including Beast Wars Megatron, the new Optimus Prime, version 2.0 of Bumblebee, Prowl, Wheeljack, Movie Megatron, and Movie Jazz. Who’s gonna loan me a thousand bucks to get these all? Pictures by Steve Kushnir

Surprising everybody on Friday was Ectotron, the Transformers/Ghostbusters crossover toy exclusive to HasbroPulse.com, Gamestop, and EB Games. This toy was on display at Toy Fair in his 80’s glory, including his Generation 1 styled box. That packaging sealed the deal for many fans who were on the fence. But HasbroPulse also had another surprise for fans – Selects Megatron, in an “Unreleased G2 Color Scheme”. This toy is also available on HasbroPulse for $29.99. Take a look at the gallery! After an absence of a few years, ASM is proud to present pictures from Hasbro’s Toy Fair show room! Our thanks to Steve Kushnir for taking these photos! To kick off our Hasbro coverage, let’s begin with our favorite toy line here, Transformers! Specifically, let’s start with Transformers: War for Cybertron – Siege. Appearing on shelves late last year (or early this year, depending on your distribution), this is a brand new storyline for Transformers. The first part, Siege, takes place on the “last day on Cybertron”, and features Transformers in the thick of battle, with … Cybertronian modes (you
Continue readingToy Fair 2019 – Hasbro Announces More Transformers Cyberverse Toys
Ahead of their Media Day at Toy Fair 2019, Hasbro posted pictures to their social media accounts revealing more Transformers Cyberverse toys! Some of these were shown earlier this week, but some are new! We had already seen Ark Power Optimus Prime and some of the other Spark Armor toys, but today we were shown a new Gnaw (time to get a new horde!), a Scraplet (time to get another new horde!) and Alpha Trion! Check out the new pictures!

SPOILERS FOR TRANSFORMERS CYBERVERSE! In conjunction with Toy Fair 2019, Hasbro made two announcements regarding Transformers on your TV (or phone or tablet or computer or whatever will be used next year). First, “Transformers Cyberverse” has been given a second season, debuting Fall 2019. A trailer was posted on YouTube, and in addition to the cast we saw in Season 1, we saw some very interesting new characters…. Lugnut! Lockdown! …CHEETOR??? Whoa. Looks like I need to get caught up on this show so I know what’s going on come Fall! Here’s the details on the new season: Season 2,

“Dogs and cats, living together — Mass Hysteria!” That was pretty much the reaction this morning when the brand new HasbroPulse.com suddenly provided an item listing for an 80’s Kid’s Crossover Dream: An official Transformers Ecto-1 from GHOSTBUSTERS! Ectotron is a collaboration between Hasbro, Takara, Columbia Pictures, and General Motors to produce a robot that converts into the hearse-turned-ghostbusting-vehicle from the popular movie that surely can’t be turning thirty five years old…. Holy cow. This is nuts. This is amazing. This is Ecto Cooler returning Big. To top it off, IDW announced a five part miniseries featuring Ectotron that will

Hasbro has sent over a press release announcing international distribution of “Transformers: Cyberverse”. I’m about six episodes behind at the moment, but I like this. Anything that promotes the current Transformers media is a good proposition. Hasbro Studios Announces International Distribution Deal with Cartoon Network for Transformers: Cyberverse Transformers: Cyberverse to Roll Out to Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America Late 2018 Burbank, CA, November 20, 2018 – Hasbro Studios, the Los Angeles-based entertainment distribution division of Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), announced today an international deal with Cartoon Network to distribute Season One of the hit animated series

After last week’s interesting leak of BotBots, we finally get to see exactly what we’re dealing with. And what we’re dealing with is the cutest batch of Transformers since… Uh… Hmm. Not sure we’ve had any Transformers this cute. Been almost thirty five years, it’s about time we did. BotBots is a new line to be fully unveiled at London MCM Comic Con later this week, and it looks like it will give Shopkins a run for it’s money. Gone are Autobots and Decepticons. In their place are Energon-infused every-day items such as fast food, bathroom fixtures, tech gadgets, and
Continue readingToy Review: Transformers Titans Return Fastclash
I never had the Autobot clones, and I only played with the Decepticon clones once or twice. However, I was still excited to see that these box sets were going to give us two (and most likely all) of the clones. In the “Chaos on Velocitron” set, Fastclash (formerly Fastlane) makes his debut. He is…. interesting. He’s interesting from a design standpoint. Neither a Deluxe or a Legend class, he exists in new size class Hasbro has said was created for the clones. So, rather than try to shoehorn him into a size too big or too small, they went
