TRANSFORMERS is 35 years old this year. In fact, today marks the 35th anniversary of what could be the first print ad for the robots in disguise. Thirty-five years is a lot of robots, a lot of battles, a lot of fun — and Hasbro wants to celebrate all that encompasses the brand. The kick-off features Angela Bassett, the voice of SHATTER from BUMBLEBEE, in the video you can see embedded below. Future videos will showcase creators, celebrities, and others involved throughout all of Transformers history. Hasbro, in the press release shown below, invites fans to post their own videos

Comic Review – Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #21 (or An Open Letter to James Roberts)
In the past, I’ve only given this comic a “Quick Look” so to avoid people getting spoiled. But I can’t talk about this comic without spoilers. I tried, I really tried, but nope, can’t do it. So: SPOILERS AFTER THE IMAGES!

…and the rest of us weep bitter tears, each tear filled with our hopes and dreams. THANKS JAMES. Anyway, the next figure to be unveiled by the Transformers Club is… Rewind! I love this figure. I’m especially happy that it’s a mold that was released only in Japan. I never got the tape-tank twins, so I’m eager to get my hands on this one. Here’s a double-dip of Transformers comics from the past two weeks. IDW released Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #19 and Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters #3, two distinct tales from two different universes. And fittingly enough, I have two different opinions about them. One of the things I’ve noticed is that for the past few years, Transformers comics were — well, not exactly forgettable, but it was hard to remember what happened from issue to issue. Back when Marvel was producing the original Generation 1 series, I could pick up a new issue and immediately remember where the previous issue left off. Maybe that was
