TRANSFORMERS is 35 years old this year. In fact, today marks the 35th anniversary of what could be the first print ad for the robots in disguise. Thirty-five years is a lot of robots, a lot of battles, a lot of fun — and Hasbro wants to celebrate all that encompasses the brand. The kick-off features Angela Bassett, the voice of SHATTER from BUMBLEBEE, in the video you can see embedded below. Quantum Leap: Thirty Years of Putting Things Right
Or “Where the Hell Is My Reboot Already?” So, thanks to a tweet by Mill Creek Entertainment, I was informed that yes, I was old going to die soon. I mean, “Quantum Leap” premiered exactly thirty years ago, March 26, 1989. Wait wait wait wait 30 years ago today? OH MY GOD I'M OLD AND WILL DIE SOON. Wow. 30 years. I remember being at my grandparents' house and watching the premiere on the TV in their bedroom after Easter dinner. Didn't know then it would become one of my favorite shows. https://t.co/N4LtnKOITa — ASM (@ASMzine) March 26, 2019

Hasbro has sent over a press release announcing international distribution of “Transformers: Cyberverse”. I’m about six episodes behind at the moment, but I like this. Anything that promotes the current Transformers media is a good proposition. “Transformers: Robots in Disguise” premiered this past weekend on Cartoon Network. The pilot episode, split into two parts, sets up the general theme for this new cartoon, and in so doing, it proves that RID is both more and less than meets the eye. That may seem contradictory, but it’s true. On its surface, what does “Robots in Disguise” seem to hold in store? Robots. Check. In disguise. Check. Heck, Bumblebee even says it when they scan Earth modes. So,in so naming the show, RID is less than meets the eye — it wears its oil pump on its sleeve, to

The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo hit the Windy City again this past weekend, and ASM once again had a great time! We had no idea Valyrian Steel was going to exhibit at the show, which is odd seeing as we are huge “Game of Thrones” fans and pretty much follow everything they post on Facebook. However, our lack of foreknowledge proved to give us quite the surprise when we walked past their booth on the way to get lunch and immediately were stopped in our tracks by all the pretties. On hand were their new Unsullied helm and Loras’ helm as well as their
