Toy Fair 2019 – Hasbro Star Wars
With Episode IX and “The Mandalorian” hitting the big and small screens later this year, there wasn’t anything on display at Toy Fair for these anticipated parts of the Star Wars universe. However, there was some news — new retro style figures! Exclusive to Target, these figures are the old Kenner figures — well, save for Tarkin, as he’s a new figure in the retro style! Oh, wow, toy collectors from the 80’s and 90’s will definitely remember the name “Toy Biz”. These were the entry way to Marvel toys for so many of us, with their bright bold packaging and unique figure stylings. I usually saved my money for Transformers, but I was known to bring home a Toy Biz or two in my day. Well, that day has returned, because Hasbro is bringing back Toy Biz packaging and figure look this year. These are stunning. These look like they stepped out of the past and into our collections.
