First, from their retro-styled ReAction line, Funko is releasing a figure based on the cult movie The Rocketeer. Featuring a removable helmet and jetpack, this figure looks like it was made in the 70’s, which may be many years before the movie came out but fits in with the character’s comic debut in 1982. The Rocketeer figure is available in May.
Pop! Disney: Maleficent Movie
Also available in May are two pop vinyl figures based on the upcoming movie Disney’s Maleficent! Maleficent is the untold story of the mysterious villain from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, the story that explains why Maleficent cursed Aurora. These two main characters are the latest pop figures in Funko’s Pop! Disney line. As you wait for the movie and toy release, you can watch the trailer for Disney’s Maleficent right here.
Pop! Animation: Hanna-Barbera
Finally, adding to Funko’s Pop! Animation line, we have figures from classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons! Featuring Fred Flinstone and Barney Rubble from “The Flintstones”, Number-One Super Guy Hong Kong Phooey from his self-titled series, and Frankenstein Jr. from “Frankenstein Jr. & The Impossibles”, these new pop vinyl figures will be available in June.
