Comic Quick Look — Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters #4

When I took a look at issue #3 of Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters, I said that I was having trouble accepting that the Dinobots looked like Earth dinosaurs, even though they had never been to our planet.  Well, I’m glad to say that issue #4 addresses my complaint.  In the course of fighting their organic counterparts, the Dinobots discover that the dinosaurs were part of Shockwave’s experiments.  He apparently had discovered them on Earth and decided to replicate them on Cybertron. Seems simple enough.  It’s an okay read.  It’s Dinobots and dinosaurs and huge fights, but I’m having problems caring about

Comic Quick Look – Transformers: MTMTE #19, Prime Beast Hunters #3

Here’s a double-dip of Transformers comics from the past two weeks.  IDW released Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #19 and Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters #3, two distinct tales from two different universes.  And fittingly enough, I have two different opinions about them. Toy Fair 2013 – Day 1 Recap – Hasbro News

As we gear up for Day 2 of Toy Fair pictures, let’s step back and take a look at Day 1 in review. Yesterday was the annual Hasbro Fan Media Event, a great way to kick off Toy Fair for us toy lovers. A two hour presentation covered My Little Pony, Transformers, GI Joe, Star Wars, and Marvel toys, and afterwards fan press members were allowed to see Hasbro’s show room.  In addition, Hasbro provided the media with press images of toys seen and not seen at the show.  Take a gander TRANSFORMERS Beast Hunters Bot Shots Construct-Bots Generations Kre-O MARVEL Marvel
