Worth the price? $1? Maybe, if you don’t mind a Transformer that doesn’t really transform. If you buy the meal, you’ll be paying for it in your body fat and arteries….

Okay, this is kind of a cheat for a review, but what the heck, right?

To promote Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Burger King is providing eight “Flip-Out” toys. Each toy is similar — you have a large replica of a character’s face. Press a lever in the back, and the robot legs and body unfold from inside the head. Push the legs back up, and the robot is once a head again.

It’s a kid’s meal toy — it’s not rocket science.

So, yeah. It’s a Starscream head that reveals a “super-deformed” body. It’s almost like what you’d see on a bobble head.

The Good
Most Burger King stores will sell you the toys without having to buy the meal, so if you can get him for a buck, that’s preferable. Is he $1.00 worth of fun? Eh, probably not. You do get a 20% off $30 or more at K-Mart with the included coupon, so there’s that.

The Bad
It’s a kid’s meal toy, so “bad” doesn’t really have a place. You get what you pay for.

The Final Rewind
If you are into bobble heads and Mighty Muggs, this is right up your alley. Otherwise, you can safely pass on this.
