Their Saturday presentation included demonstrations with the long sword, dagger, and sword and buckler. The crowd was shown how actual sword fights differ from the Hollywood image, in that actual fights are very quick and are brutally over within seconds. The final demonstration involved two members suited up in full armor.
After the presentation, the crowd was invited to ask questions and then participate in an interactive “show and tell” of a few of the weapons.
