On Tuesday evening, the fine folks at Hasbro and Hunter PR were kind enough to set up Google Hangouts between the Transformers team and members of the fan sites. I will be updating ASM with info, but here are the highlights: Powermaster Prime returns and he is GLORIOUS. He is 1988 in 2015 aesthetics and engineering. A nearly fully retooled Ultra Magnus, Op has his trailer with signature blue stripe, a base mode, Autobot Apex as a head, and a wonderfully articulated combined robot. I want him. Now. Sergeant Kup is the somewhat modern take on the character who first debuted in The Transformers: The Movie, over 25 years ago. (Don’t you feel old? I know I do.) Back then, he was a futuristic pickup truck from the far-off future of 2005. Yyyyeah, that’s not exactly how car design evolved, is it?
