Kotobukiya is well known for its high-quality statues of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and other characters once again had a presence at C2E2, albeit a somewhat smaller booth than I remember from 2012. In addition to their display, they had a small store where you could buy some of their trays used for ice cubes/chocolate/what-have-you. Take a look at our pictures below! Diamond Select Toys, makers of Minimates, action figures, and other cool pop culture collectibles, had two separate display booths at C2E2. To celebrate the Tenth Anniversary of Minimates, they had several display cases showcasing various figures from the previous decade. They also had on display items from Star Trek, Marvel, Ghostbusters, “The Munsters”, Universal Monsters, and other awesome stuff. The organization strives for historical accuracy, spending hours researching medieval documentation of the art. This research includes painstaking reading through ancient books written in Italian.
