Toy Fair 2019 – McFarlane Toys – Fortnite

We start our McFarlane Toys coverage with Fortnite! Fortnite is one of those things that make me feel old.  It’s a video game that is popular and I feel like it’s beyond my comprehension.  But that’s just me.  Even though I may not play the game, I understand it’s popularity and I love the designs.  They make for a great looking video game and a great looking set of toys.  These $24.99 figures have 22 points of articulation and will look great next to your console. Toy Fair 2019 – DC Collectibles – Statues

DC Collectibles has been known for their high quality statues.  This year will be no different.  We have their fine Designer line, including Nightwing by Jim Lee, Dark Knight Returns Batman by Frank Miller, Wonder Woman by Jenny Frison.  We also have their DC Bombshells including Batgirl, Supergirl,Death and more.  And there are various other statues, including the Engines of Chaos line. Toy Fair 2019 – Hasbro – Power Rangers

When word came out that Hasbro had bought the Power Rangers line from Saban, you could hear the collective gasp on the Internet.  This was a big move for Hasbro.  And they are fully committed to bring a diverse set of toy lines for the Power Rangers fans. Bringing over an unseen-in-the-US series of Super Sentai, the popular Go-Busters, as “Beast Morphers” was heralded as a fantastic move.  And now we are seeing how Hasbro will support the show with toys. Toy Fair 2019 – Hasbro Star Wars

With Episode IX and “The Mandalorian” hitting the big and small screens later this year, there wasn’t anything on display at Toy Fair for these anticipated parts of the Star Wars universe.  However, there was some news — new retro style figures!  Exclusive to Target, these figures are the old Kenner figures — well, save for Tarkin, as he’s a new figure in the retro style!  Also new is the 8″ scale Hyperreal line of figures.  The first one is everyone’s favorite Dark Lord of the Sith – Darth Vader.
