Hasbro Star Wars Q&A – November 2010 Answers

You asked and Hasbro answered! Before we get into the questions, I want to share two things with you. First, the answer to our second question contains SPOILERS for a recent episode of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”. You’ve been warned. Second, Hasbro Star Wars team member Darryl DePriest wanted to share some words with our readers:

It’s a very exciting time for Star Wars as the extraordinary Target exclusive Vintage 9-pack will be going on sale soon (Nov. 28th). There are two important things to note with this set. First, this set will be more limited than some of our other recent exclusives. Second, Target (and we) are so excited about the Vintage collection overall and these 3-packs that we have decided to keep this “collection within a collection” idea going at Target. Another wave of 3 3-packs will be coming in Spring and like these, they follow the Vintage character lineups. We think this an exciting development, and thanks to Target’s support, hopefully fans will be treated to even more in this series. Thanks again for the support and be sure to get to Target soon. Happy Holidays – the Hasbro Star Wars team.

And now, the questions! Hit the jump for the SPOILERRIFFIC answers!

  1. Now that there’s a new Clone Trooper body, are we likely to see previously-released named clones like Echo and Fives remade, or can we assume that what we’ve got are the only figures they’ll be getting?
  2. Now that he’s showing up in the TV series again, have the chances of a Ziro the Hutt toy gone up?

  1. Unless Echo and Fives show up in future episodes, it’s unlikely we’ll be doing any more figures of them.
  2. We still don’t have a Ziro figure in the lineup. If last Friday’s show, when Ziro was apparently killed, is really his last hurrah then the chances of ever seeing a Ziro figure are the opposite of his considerable girth. In other words, slim.

Thanks to Hasbro and Hunter PR for the answers! Got more questions? Keep watching for your chance to submit them!
